February 6, 2008: The camera ready copy of all accepted papers must be uploaded under Proceedings Builder before February 15, 2008.

February 6, 2008: The list of accepted papers and the tentative program are posted in the Program section.

February 6, 2008: Dr. Josep Domingo-Ferrer is the invited keynote speaker for the PAIS 2008 workshop. More details to follow.

February 3, 2008: The registration fee for PAIS 2008 Workshop is 60 € (if registered to EDBT conference) or 120 € (for PAIS workshop only). To register go to EDBT registration page.

December 14, 2007: The paper submission deadline has been extended to December 28, 2007.

November 20, 2007: The updated call for papers is available [PDF].

November 20, 2007:  Paper submissions will be handled via EasyChair conference system.

October 3, 2007: The post-proceedings of all EDBT 2008 workshops will be published in the ACM Digital Library. Accordingly, the ACM double-column style has to be used for every paper accepted in the PAIS workshop. See Paper Submission page for details.

September 28, 2007: Travel grants are available due to the generous support from the UNESCO Chair in Data Privacy. More information can be found in our Travel Support section.

September 15, 2007: The call for papers is released.

September 14, 2007: The 1st International Workshop on Privacy and Anonymity in the Information Society (PAIS’08) has been accepted as one day workshop, to be held in conjunction with EDBT conference on March 29, 2008 in Nantes (France).
